• Prepare the design models: your main task is preparing and refining SketchUp models for the lead designer — before and after each step — and building the execution-planning presentations in Layout by SketchUp. These two tools are at the heart of the role.
• Support procurement: working alongside the designers, you also support our procurement management — gathering quotes from manufacturers and trades, researching furniture and products, and helping coordinate delivery dates with suppliers.
• Curate our materials: manage our growing library of fabric, colour and product samples in Studio Designer, plus the inventory of accessories and décor.
• Support the studio: contribute to content creation for our social media (Instagram, Pinterest) and source imagery for design presentations.
• Site Visits & Field Documentation: Participate in timely site visits as part of ongoing project support, including photo documentation of site conditions and accurate recording of site measurements to assist the design team in maintaining up-to-date project records.

What We Are Looking For:
– Essential: confident, hands-on proficiency in SketchUp and SketchUp Layout — our entire day-to-day workflow runs on them, so solid skills here are a must
– Ideally, working knowledge of Notion, our central project-management tool (or the willingness to get up to speed quickly)
– Ongoing degree in Interior Design or Architecture
– A strong eye for aesthetics and a genuine enthusiasm for interior design
– Structured, independent working style paired with a collaborative team spirit
– Fluent in English (German is a plus, but not required)

Nice to Have:
– Previous practical experience in interior design, architecture or project management
– An affinity for state-of-the-art AI tools and how to use them in a design workflow
– A feel for content creation for social media

N.J. Interiors is looking for two motivated interns to join our Berlin design team. You will work closely alongside our designers and gain insight into every phase of a project — from the first concept through to final execution — on high-end residential projects across Europe. We work hand in hand with our sister brand N&N Real Estate, which rents out furnished apartments in prime Berlin locations: one role focuses primarily on the interior design studio, the other on N&N, with the option to contribute across both — but you will always be part of one shared design team.
