Creative Internship

Berlin · Full-time Internship · ASAP · 4–6 months

Tasks:

What you'll do

You'll work on the physical expression of the brand — the packaging, print, objects, and experiences that land in someone's hands. This is not a hypothetical internship project. Everything you make gets produced and shipped. Nothing stays a slide.

The project you'll own is decided once you join, based on what the brand needs at the time and where your strengths are. Examples of the kind of work:

  • Graphic design
  • Brand & packaging
  • PR & creator sends
  • Gifting
  • Retail & spaces
  • Collaborations

You'll start with an open brief. Your job is to understand it, find a point of view, decide, bring the right people in, and get something made.

You'll work directly with founders, suppliers, printers, manufacturers, and customers — and present and defend your work to the people making the decisions.

Not generic templates.
Not safe, corporate packaging.
Design that's considered, intentional, and worth keeping.

Requirements:

Who we're looking for

We care less about where you are in your career than how quickly you're moving, and how strong your eye is. This role suits people who want to build a brand or a studio of their own one day — you'll see up close what it takes to make a physical brand at scale.

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Have a strong, consistent aesthetic point of view — and can defend it
  • Care deeply about material, print, typography, and detail
  • Have designed something that actually got made, not just presented
  • Are good at getting things out of suppliers and makers
  • Arrive with your own references and creative opinions
  • Are drawn to Japanese culture, fashion, and lifestyle
  • Care whether it sells, not just whether it looks good
  • Love refining something until it's exactly right

Product design, industrial design, packaging, and communication design backgrounds fit especially well. Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CAD, 3D — all a plus. Taste and visual instinct matter more than credentials. No degree required.

We don't expect you to know everything. We expect you to figure things out.
